Vacancy for Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Do you have excellent organisational and administrative skills? East Farleigh Parish Council has a vacancy for a Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
Working for a busy and energetic Parish Council you will be the principal point of contact for parishioners and local government officials for a wide range of matters affecting the Parish of East Farleigh.
Your duties will include the smooth running of our Parish Meetings and Committees via the preparation of agendas and taking of minutes, control of the Council’s finances, management of the East Farleigh Parish website, and general support and administration of the Council’s affairs.
Previous local government experience would be advantageous and excellent organisational, administrative, inter-personal and IT skills are a pre-requisite for this role. Professional development will be encouraged, and training will be provided to obtain CILCA within 2 years if not held.
This is a home based appointment, requiring up to 20 hours per week with flexible hours during the day and at least one evening meeting per month.
Remuneration is paid monthly at NALC National Govt scales ranging up to point 22 pro rata. (Up to £10,000.00 per annum)
